Four slices (about 6.5 x 15.5" each) of related colors. Colors will vary, although they will all be in the color family(ies) indicated.  Individual pieces may be more or less mottled than those pictured.  All our hand-dyed 100% wool is pre-felted.

Each Dark Shadows bundle contains eight pieces of hand dyed and felted wool, approx. 7 x 16" each, perfect for antique black backgrounds for your hooked rugs. 

The term "antique black" refers to an off-black and may be any very, very dark color.  Using varying colors of off-black in your hooked rug backgrounds creates movement and interest.  It also helps to disguise a little lint here and there!  Who couldn't use a little help with the household maintenance?

Bundles will vary and may contain some textures.  Of course, this wool is also suitable for wool applique and other stitchery.
